With Nini at Ottawa Design Club

With Nini at Ottawa Design Club

Recently I had the opportunity to talk about my journey as a fashion designer, and what led me off course before I landed exactly where I was meant to be all along. What a great excuse to reflect and revisit past versions of myself and what a privilege to be given a safe space to bare it all to a community of kind and creative folks. Watch my presentation here:

This has been one big “pinch me” moment from the very beginning— like what do you meannnn I have a story worth telling? Wisdom to be shared? People that want to hear? Thank you to the Ottawa Design Club for recognizing that and reminding me that I have more to offer than I think. Thank you for trusting me, guiding me, and hand delivering sliders and cupcakes to the greenroom because they definitely came in clutch as soon as I got off the stage. Watch the highlights of the night here:

It was such a treat to share this experience with Remi of House of Common Studio and Meaghan of FONO. I left that night inspired by their vulnerability and excited for what they’ll share with the world next. To the folks that joined us that evening, thank you for hearing us, embracing us, and just being the coolest ever! I wish I could’ve been more present, less nervy, and mingled more but please know that my DMs are always open. Thank you for being there (and here) friends! 💛
